Dr. Eisner is Central Georgia’s laser vision authority. He has performed over 11,000 laser correction procedures on many of your friends and family members. Dr. Eisner's premedical education in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering served as a stimulus to his interest in ophthalmology and laser vision technology. He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and then attended graduate school in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. The Degree of Medicine was earned at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. He completed a Family Practice Internship in Lubbock and then a four-year residency program in Ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

In 1984, he started his practice in diseases and surgery of the eye, and has performed all aspects of general eye care, including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and pediatric eye care.

In 1991, Dr. Eisner began performing the (pre-laser) refractive procedure known as radial keratotomy (RK) and not long after, began specializing in refractive surgery. As a result, when the FDA approved LASIK in 1996, Dr. Eisner was already experienced to perform the procedure. He was the first ophthalmologist in Central Georgia to perform laser vision correction and, having successfully treated thousands of patients in this area, he is also Central Georgia's most experienced laser eye surgeon.

Dr. Eisner specializes exclusively in laser vision correction and NearVision CK. Our patients have come from as far as California, Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama and all around the state of Georgia to have him perform their surgery.
